I liked the way the story moved along in a way that wasn't predictable. It kept me engaged and stayed true to the good themes that were presented throughout the book. Looking forward to reading about what happens next.
The book takes you on a great adventure. Very well written and with words and details he paints quite a picture. I enjoyed it very much. A great fantasy journey. I believe it will be great for young adults. You have to read the book.
A compelling page turner... Ripley reveals he is a smart young man, as he faces one adventure after another, The constant action and surprises make it hard to put the book down. Not just good for young men, this story is a good read for all ages. This grandmother plans to share the book with her grandsons for their entertainment, too. I'm sure they will like it as much as I did.
